Email Security Reminder - Password Security
Please note - It's IMPORTANT that you update your email password regularly.
Your email account is an important part of your business, and the last thing that you want to happen is for someone to gain access to your email account. When this happens, it can compromise your entire communication channel. We strongly urge you to update your password regularly.
Tips for creating strong passwords:
- Never use your company name or a portion of/variation on your own name or email address
- Always use letters and numbers
- Make sure the password length is at least 8 characters or more
- Keys to password strength: length and complexity
An ideal password is long and has letters, punctuation, symbols, and numbers.
• Whenever possible, use at least 14 characters or more.
• The greater the variety of characters in your password, the better.
• Use the entire keyboard, not just the letters and characters you use or see most often.
